It was the food overflowing
More than could be eaten
Even if there were two more
Mark Novicio’s
It was the servants who stepped up
It was Nesha moving
The girl food line along
When they were taking too long
It was the boys who put out the ice
And took out the trash
It was Michelle washing the dishes
And then Tony taking over
And Megan drying so that they
Were working together
As a team
It was no one needing to sit in a particular seat
Or at a particular table
It was boys sitting with girls
It was new relationships and
New babies and
New friendships and
Old ones that have changed
It was the people who weren’t
At last year’s party
It was Mike, Maritza, Bri, Adam
And Bill who should have
Been here last year anyway
It was every guy getting up and singing
To their ladies
The light
in Lightswitch
It was the fact that there wasn’t
A leader for set up
And there wasn’t a leader for clean up
And there didn’t need to be
It was laughing together
And singing together
Hony Tuchings
“couples courting”
White man in a black body
Syrup poured on waffles
Magnetic ankles
Oversized stocking
It was stolen goods returned
Hey! That’s mine!
I’ve been looking for that!
Who owns a Taylor Swift cd?
The Unicorn has pranced softly
Now it is the Raven’s turn
It was all the minor things
That if piled up together
Would be no taller than Maritza
It was the flow and the feel
And the comfort
Of being together
It was how Christ united a group
So varied
That we now
Naturally
Act as a family
And from a few others
Getting serenaded by the guys! The lyrics were encouraging and their enthusiasm was contagious. Thanks for being such caring friends!
During the “How Slasher Villains Kill Time” part I loved Jeremy’s line: “Man, I hope nothing has happened to them!” Also, I loved Allison’s line in the waffle skit: “Help! I'm too young to die! I was made only an hour ago!!” The “Whose Line” acts were hilarious, those guys are too funny!

One of my highlights was that Mike’s nametag was “Glack Buy” and Megan was like “What’s your name?” It was funny how it took her a second to get it. Another highlight for me was that I really got to bond with my table as we came up with our “Twelve Days of Christmas” song. It was really fun to hang out with Christine and Allen Fowler, and see people like Bill and Brianna. I love the fact that we came together and had a great time. My last highlight was the girl's prank. I was glad that I got my coffee thermos back, but later I said, “I've been missing my scarf for a week, did you guys take that too?” and Kristin answered, “I think I saw it near the drums.” So I actually ended up getting back two things I was missing.

I loved the “Whose Line” bit with the villains, especially Jeremy “killing” time by playing Sudoku hoping nothing had happened to them. Another highlight was Christine jumping up contesting the “youngest singer” claim that the O'Hara’s had for Everett! She was passionate about that one.
